Gawen heads Langley Taylor Building Consultancy.  He is a Chartered Building Surveyor who qualified in 1996 and he has been a Partner of Langley-Taylor for over 10 years.

Gawen entered the profession in 1987 and graduated from South Bank University with an Honours degree in Building Surveying.  He joined Langley-Taylor in 1994 having worked for private practices in London and Surrey and also working on a consultancy basis to a London housing association.

He has a broad range of experience including repairs, maintenance and alterations to Listed Buildings and Period properties and has acted for Eton College and The Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn for many years.  Gawen also deals with many management portfolio projects including major repairs contracts, preparing and implementing planned maintenance schedules and assessing proposed alterations.

Gawen has over 15 years experience in dealing with Party Wall matters acting for both developers and Adjoining owners affected by the works.  He also deals with project management, conversion and refurbishment works for both residential and commercial properties, reinstatement valuations and is experienced in dealing with dilapidations claims acting for both landlord and tenant.
